Flora Macdonald 

Having begun as one of the first degree-issuing schools for women
in North Carolina, each successive school that has called this
campus home has adapted itself into what the area community
needed it to be.  This new iteration of Flora Macdonald Academy
continues that tradition.  We have recently undergone many
changes:  our name, our administration, and our perspective. 
With our name returning back to FMA, we are focusing on what
has made us a strong school in the past and will continue to do
so going forward. 

Our small school community and class sizes allow students the
opportunity to stand out as individuals, receive personal attention,
and develop strong relationships with fellow students and their
teachers  For children, knowing and trusting the people around
them instills confidence and stability - confidence to participate
and ask questions, and the stability to be autonomous and make
good choices, both in and out of the classroom.
